Need a tank to be a Southerndoe?  Click on the tank in the picture to get your own! $30Halloween is right around the corner!  And with many Halloween parties happening this upcoming weekend… WE NEED COSTUME IDEAS!  We wanted something easy, but cute… and then inspiration struck!  What better to be than a SOUTHERNDOE!  (Or just a doe...)  We put together this easy tutorial for creating a Doe look, using makeup products that you already have in your stockpile of makeup.  (Gotta save those dolla bills for Christmas gifts right?)

What you’ll need: white eyeshadow  // foundation darker than your skin (or bronzer) // brown eyeshadow // eye liner // mascara

I started with only a little concealer to hide my blemishes and put my hair into two “ears” by making tiny buns on the top of my head.

Add white eyeshadow to your eyelids and below your eyes, down your nose and on your forehead making a mask.  You can use a grease paint for this, but we stuck with what we had.

Take the darker foundation and add it all around your white mask, below the mask, around the sides, and on the upper part of your forehead.

Blend the edges of the white mask with the foundation.  Add more white shadow if you need to.

Take a wet q-tip and get some white shadow on it.  Use the q-tip to make little white spots on your cheeks and forehead.

Add some darker bronzer below your cheekbones for a contour.  This makes your face a little more “doe” like.

Line your eyes with a black eyeliner.  You can keep it simple or go a little more dramatic.  We added a little wing and pulled the eyeliner in towards our nose a bit.

Taking your brown eye shadow, run a line down the sides of the white shadowed portion of your nose.

Time to draw your doe nose!  We used black eye liner on the tip of our nose and around the nostrils for an animal look.

Add some nude lips and mascara and you’re ready for Halloween!

Happy Halloween Does!
